Dear Parent/Carers

Following the lifting of covid restrictions in England we have reviewed our risk assessments and are now adopting the following measures:

Hygiene: We will maintain the practise of regular hand washing and regular cleaning of all equipment to help continue to promote good health and hygiene.

Rooms will continue to be well ventilated, and monitors have been put in each room to measure the air quality.

Symptoms and illness: Should your child develop any symptoms of covid-19 whilst at the club we will ring you and ask you to collect your child as soon as possible, we would ask that your child does not return to the setting until they are fully recovered or have 2 negative lateral flow tests should you wish to test.

Please refer to our Illness and accident policy with regards to exclusion periods for all other infectious conditions and diseases.

Tracing close contacts and self-isolation: Public Health advice for people with covid-19 and their contacts changed from 24th February. Contacts are no longer required to self-isolate or advised to take daily tests and contract tracing has ended.

Face coverings: Face coverings are no longer advised for children, staff and visitors during indoor activities or in communal areas. However, if staff or parents/carers wish to continue to wear a face mask in crowded areas they may continue to do so.

Staff and children should follow wider advice on face coverings outside of the club including on transport to and from the club.

Drop off and Pick up: We will continue to ask parents to wait at the gate or under the Gazebo when dropping off and collecting your children. If you would like to come into the club to speak to Jenny or a member of the team please just ask.

If you have any concerns or queries regarding this information please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of my team.

Yours sincerely

Jenny Ede
